Even though we were family from the start, each day it feels like more and more like we were never without each other. The boys are extremely affectionate and the girls are warming up nicely. It is difficult to love and discipline, all in the same breath, children you've only known a week that don't speak your language. God gives us strength and we count on the prayers of our friends and family. We have been told amazing stories of how some have lifted us up in prayer. We feel it and are tremendously blessed! Thank God He never closes His ears.

Honestly, I can only imagine what that must be like seeing as, yea... I don't have kid, but yea... You guys are in my prayers. I wish you all the best these next few weeks and always.
I;m just anxious about meeting them in like real life. I dunno but it seems hecka Crazy... I'm just all excited.

Nate & Rena...May the Lord increase your strength and give you wings like the eagle...energy to keep up with the little tykes. We only have a group of three; initially, we were overwhelmed with our own emotions, expectations, etc. Going into the fifth month, I can tell you things have slowed down...I was told the first six months, I would find exhausting and then we would level out...I think that is true, thus far- for us.
God is amazing thru it all just as you have testified. The sweet kisses and the precious smiles that they give us melt our hearts and we tend to forget about the more difficult times.
Love the pics and the videos. Unable to get to the YouTube, but the previous blogger videos were precious! Rena, I found your rocking horse or one similar from Cracker Barrel! I had shown Tatiana, Andrew, and Diego your video of the horse...they laughed and pointed at it's tail...they did the same thing at the restaurant!!! Thanks for sharing your story.

Rena... I can't quite smiling when I look at these blogs and pictures. God is blessing you, big time! We continue to pray that he will give you strength, guidance, abundant joy, and love for these children. I know you feel very lucky - but really it is the children who are lucky. There is a great cookbook in English on Colombian cooking. Search amazon for Colombian cooking and you should get a hit for it. It has a black cover with white lettering and a photo of a dish in the middle.
