Let them know Turner has made it to Columbia!! What a proud moment! Go girl. I know everything won't be easy, we are behind you!! Again I'm sending you warm wishes from Turner!! I hope everything goes well! :)
My prayers are always with you! but i'll make sure i pray extra good tonight, ok? even thought u guys probably already saw them cuz I'm kinda late, but that's ok right?
Anyways..... I'm so excited about meeting them! Thay can call me Tia Chito. By the way, I forgot to announce the birth of my new nephew: Anthony Isaiah Carrillo-Hernandez. Yea, he's an adorable little thing.

We just can't go to bed without getting our Daily Duewell Dose.I hope everyting went well today.
We love reading stories about what the kids are doing. I need to thank Nate for teaching Lauren one more Spanish word that I have to listen for in public. Her and Phil were laughing so hard at that story that she tooted. Laughter and shouts of ooh...pao ensued for a long time.
I shared your blog at the coaches meeting. Everyone said it looks like you're having the time of your life. Things are chugging along here. I sent an e-mail to Rean's school address in case she wants to get an update. My advice is forget about school and work though.
We're still praying and keeping you all in our thoughts.
Rena and Nate, you are in our prayers daily. Thanks again for keeping us all updated. How great is it being a mami and papi? Words just can't express, but the photos are doing a great job...smile. Beth (CHI family member)
The most amazing phone call that we ever received came on September 11, 2007. Our social worker in Overland Park, KS had a conference call with Rena in Salina, KS and myself, Nate, in Kansas City, MO, about four siblings in Bogota, Colombia, South America. We got a referral that ended our deferred hope.
It had to be a God-thing; I think it happened inside of five seconds. We looked at their picture and they went from being strangers to being the most beautiful children in the world! They immediately stole our hearts! We were hooked for life. We were theirs and they were ours. What seemed like countless hours of preparation and years of prayer became flesh and fabric.
