Can we say beautiful? They are gorgeous!!! I could just "eat them up!" as they say in the south...and little divas...watch out Papi, grab your bats, you're gonna have to beat off the boys!!! Your sons are very handsome as well!
I waited to read your update report in the noticero when I saw your post earlier. I am glad I waited! It was funny how I anticipated it as I scrolled down. I thought I'd never get to it, and then ta-dah! As I read it, I laughed! You guys are hilarious, and love how you describe the changes in the house! I'm sure you guys are fabulous parents! Gotta be, right, a dad with a harley, hello!
Thanks for sharing your story with us! And continuing to post...Rena, I think you're awesome! Have a great week!
Your children are absolutely adorable!!!!! =) I can only imagine how much more beautiful their personalities are! What a blessing and thanks so much for sharing them with your blog community!
The most amazing phone call that we ever received came on September 11, 2007. Our social worker in Overland Park, KS had a conference call with Rena in Salina, KS and myself, Nate, in Kansas City, MO, about four siblings in Bogota, Colombia, South America. We got a referral that ended our deferred hope.
It had to be a God-thing; I think it happened inside of five seconds. We looked at their picture and they went from being strangers to being the most beautiful children in the world! They immediately stole our hearts! We were hooked for life. We were theirs and they were ours. What seemed like countless hours of preparation and years of prayer became flesh and fabric.

I'm still waiting for them to add "Duewel Family" to the list of synonyms for adorable. (:
